Can please anyone help
Me regarding the use of Gentizol Ointment? The Vet said my cat had ears infections, so she squeeze huge amount of Gentizol , and couple hours later my adorable cat Snowy is very ill, since friday she can not walk , she can not eat , not even can stand up and the really worst part is she is completly deaf , and seems there is huge damage in both of her ears, can anyone help me ? She is in the hospital since yesterday with IV fluids, but no progress at all, anyone knows how long does it takes to get rid off this ointment? Would she ever be able to hear again? Thank you so much for any response I could received

I'm so sorry this has happened. You must be devastated
.   At least now she is in the hospital getting IV fluids which i guess are intended to flush out the medication.  Did you ask the Vet treating her how long it might take and if the damages are temporary or permanent?

How each cat reacts to something like this is different, so there is really no way we can tell you what to expect.  Honestly, I've never heard of such a reaction.  Snowy must have been allergic to one of the ingredients in the ointment.

for a quick and complete recovery
