I am honestly about to break down in tears because I'm pretty sure I'm not going to hear anything positive about this discharge she's having I am pretty sure she may not have the kittens because there might be some type of difficulty with her pregnancy and I don't have the money to get her a c-section I am completely shattered
I can try and get her in for and examination but I fear th u are going to tell me the kittens didn't make it or I can't afford the attention she needs

I do think it's time to see the vet. If she's bleeding without contractions it's not a healthy sign for mom or kittens.

Please update us as to what is happening.

What about the discharge? Temperature doesn't tell you much.

Th last time it happened was 3:45 am and I texted a vet and she told me I have to take her into the emergency clinic or surrender her so she gets the procedure done right away. The told me that the kittens dies inside and she can die too if they aren't removed.[emoji]128148[/emoji]

Please explain what is going on now. Is she still bleeding without contractions? Something must be done.

She isn't still discharging and she hasn't had contractions either they told me she needs a c section to take out her dead kittens before the bacteria kills her

She really does need some immediate care. The vet is not incorrect.

Okay. The only way to know if the kittens are dead would be to perform an ultrasound or x-ray. She probably does need a c-section either way though, and ASAP.

What can you do? You need to do something. Can you find a vet who will work with you on a payment plan?

This needs resolution!

I took le pons to the emergency clinic and we got bad news. Le pons has pyometra. The kitten or kittens may have died and caused the infection to grow inside of her uterus. The vet recommended surgery from $2,000.00 which at the time I don't have. They gave her antibiotics to fight the infection inside and we may have luck but she needs to have her uterus removed. I can take her in to get spayed in order to fix the problem hopefully if not by this weekend then by next Friday.

They think it can wait a whole week?

I'm glad you were able to bring her in.

Hopefully the cost will come down if the infection goes down.

Okay, so she is on antibiotics. These should help to minimize infection, but because the kittens are dead she definitely needs spaying.

Hopefully, sooner rather than later because her uterus can rupture, and that can be fatal.

I'm so sorry this happened.

I'm so heart broken and I'm unsure how much the cost of getting her spayed with the pyometra is.

Have you called around to different vets?

I can get her in to be spayed it's just finding the right place that isn't going to charge me like a ton of money an I'm heartbroken because she has to go through this I can only imagine the pain she feels.

What's your city and state? I'll find a low-cost clinic for you. They can get her uterus with kittens out. That usually cleans out the pyometra. She'll need to stay on the antibiotics for another 10 days. We need to get this done early next week though.

Or can you get a payment plan with a vet?

Thank you all for the support I have good news le pons is now on her way her from surgery and it went well. They said she was pregnant but the kittens didn't fully develop and died inside which caused her to get the infection. She should be recovering the rest of this week and I'm excited to see her!(:
