I just bought some of the Twinlab L-Lysine as it is recommended for feline herpes.

On the list of other ingredients it has gelatin (for the capsules of course), but also celluose, medium chain triglycerides, silica, and magnesium sterate.

For anyone who uses this, has it always had these other ingredients? I don't want to give it to my cat if the fillers have any health risks.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if the fillers are Ok for kitties, but I just wanted to let you know that there are brands that don't contain any fillers. Doctor's Best and Carlson. The former comes in 500 mg. capsules, the latter is 960 mg. per scoop.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just want pure l-lysine. The fillers may be fine for people, but, I have no idea how safe they are for cats and don't want to take any chances.
