I got a new kitten last Wednesday and shes been doing great except yesterday i noticed a slight bald patch on her leg and chin. I did some research and it said that the patch on her chin may be from food allergies or cat acne but it doesnt explain the one on her leg and its progressively getting worse. I cant take her to the vet yet because i dont have the money for it and i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what it is until i can take her that way i can make sure it doesnt get any worse.

This is awfully suspicious of ringworm. If so, she'll need an antifungal to clear it up.

Where did you get her from? If you adopted her form a rescue or shelter, I'd try contacting them as they might be will to pay to have her seen by their vet, especially since she's been with you less than a week.

We got her from a swap on fb because they were going to send her to a shelter and i didnt want her not to be able to get adopted. At first i thought it was becasue of fleas but we got rid of them within a couple days of having her.

I would call around and see if you can find a vet who'll work with you or check the link at the top of the forum for how to help your kitty when funds are low.

Looks like ringworm. Simple anti fungal will take care of it. If it doesn't clear up the vet can give a pill. Make sure you're washing your own hands and not scratching at any spots. It will spread. As far as acne, make sure to stay away from plastic bowels.

I feed them out of metal bowls that are cleaned twice a day so that problems like cat acne dont arise as well as not allowing them to have a ton of human food so the oild and greese dont effect them as well
