I have two female kittens and the mother at my apartment along with 3 other unrelated cats but the kittens will not seem to get the concept of using the litter box. As I said the mother is even here we have 4 different litter boxes one especially for the kittens in a low traffic private area near where they will have their accidents. The sides are low the litter is cleaned daily I put them in the box several times daily and drag their front paws in it. I reward them when they do use it and when i catch them not using it I just place them in the box and show them the paw movement. I do everything I can possibly think of doing and they still go in the floor even right beside the litterbox sometimes and it's driving me crazy!! I just don't understand. Their mother is here with them too I would definitely think this would not be a problem. And with our other 3 cats i dont think its a territorial issue they never go to that box or in that box they don't bother the kittens at all. We just got that box when the kittens were born about 2 months ago on April 23rd so they're used to the other boxes in the apartment. I wouldn't think the number of boxes is an issue either this is a small one bedroom apartment with 4 boxes already I don't have room for anymore but maybe that could that be the problem? I just dont understand. It's driving me nuts. What else can I possibly do?

It might help if you tried some Dr. Elseys Cat Attract Litter.  https://drelseys.com/product/cat-attract/     It's widely available in pet stores and on line.   A lot of our members have had very good results with this.  It's a bit pricey but hopefully once your kittens have the idea you can transition to a less expensive litter.

The other thing is that you want to be sure you are cleaning up with an enzyme cleaner, like Nature's Miracle.  It's important to break down the urine molecules, otherwise the kittens will still be able to smell the urine and think that's The Spot.

The rule of thumb is one box per cat, plus one, so you should ideally have 7 litter boxes, however, that's not practical in your space.  I would add a second kitten litter box, however.

The following article might help give you some more ideas.  Good luck!  I know how frustrating this can be!

One of my kittens would go right next to the litter box, but I had doggie pee pads around it that I could just throw away. Eventually she caught on and began getting in the box.

They may just need a little more time! It sounds like you are doing everything right!
