Cat getting (finally!) over fleas! healing question..

My cat finally got over a flea infestation when I moved into a new place...

He has stopped scratching, looks much calmer, and joy!

Question: his skin looks to be repairing (scabs forming, hair growing back, etc...) How long will it take to be normal again, why is your experience with flea recovery???

I don't have any experience with this type of issue, but my cat recently had to be shaved, so he had stripes on his legs where they shaved him to put in IV lines, and those are still growing back in after a month. 

Since you little one actually has scabs to recover from, I'm guessing it will take a couple of months for his entire coat to return to normal, poor guy.  AT least his fleas are gone, and he's stopped scratching.  That's the most important thing.
