My cat Topaz finally had her babies. We went threw 29 & 1/2 hours of labor. All because her 1st out was the biggest and came out butt first. Here's a pic of the cute little babies.

That was a really long labor! How many kittens did she have? Are they all nursing well?

The koala kitten is very cute!

She had 4 kittens and they have been eating basically since they were born. They have a lot of energy and fight each other for a spot on mommy to eat.

Kittens usually find a nipple and claim it for their own within the first 2-3 days, then they defend it and continue using the same nipple from then on. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I didn't know they choose a nipple as there own. They are actually pretty vicious about the others trying to take there area. Their little hands move so fast trying to move everyone out of there way.

Yes! They scramble and bully each other to claim and defend "their" nipple early on! As time goes on they will fuss less and just go straight to their own nipple. It's interesting to watch.

Is mom eating well?
