Download (save) You Tube videos?

How can I download, save and then burn to DVDs a You Tube video? I'm not looking to sell them or even give them away. I want my own collection of videos, simply for me.

I dont know-I was under the impression its only live stream. We used to have file sharing sites but those usually are full of viruses. I hope someone chimes in-

Never mind.....I got it. I knew there was a way to do it. Just had to figure it out! I was able to download the video. But I was also able to get just the audio of the song and now I need to get it to my iPod.

ETA: Got it converted to an MP3 and it's on my iPod! 

I just googled how to do this-interesting! I will have to learn so I can find songs I like and burn them to my computer. So weird having all this at our fingertips. Thank you for posting the question because I always wondered how to do this.

Often I will find a song done live at a concert that I like better than the standard version of the song, but I never knew how to get the version that I liked. This works and it works well. I've downloaded concerts that were well over an hour long with no trouble.

Again, I'm not looking to sell anything or even give anything away. I simply want certain videos for me to watch....before they disappear from You Tube.
