Hi everyone - looking for some advice. I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately I didn't see that my poor cat had decided to sleep right beside my bed that night and I stepped on him :( He didn't meow and it was a small part of him. From his position when I turned on the lights I would say it was either a paw or (and this is why I'm worried) maybe his nose/mouth area. I checked his mouth area and there was no bleeding and nothing looks out of sorts. He has not been limping either and today he has been eating normally, playing, grooming himself, etc. Am I okay to monitor the little guy? Or should I be taking him to a vet? He seems fine - and it'd kind of suck to pay a vet to tell me that - but I don't want anything to happen to him!

Just keep an eye on him and his behavior.  We ALL have stepped on our cats from time to time, and 99% of the time, they are fine.  I have a little lamp on my night stand next to my bed.  It is one of those lamps with the glass shade that turns off and on by touch.  If you were to purchase a little lamp that you can turn on when you  have to get up in the middle of the night, that would take care of accidently stepping on kitty in the middle to the night.  Don't worry.
