My kitty is getting this weird sports on his ear.

Here are the pictures. The spots are not inflamed but he does itch in that area and also behind the other ear. I put some anti fungal/anti itch oitment on those spots just in case. Any thoughts?

almost looks like an old scar. was there a tick there at one time? my cat gets small bald spots from those tick bites. or maybe got into a scuffle with another cat and its an old scar?

He is an indoor cat and around this time a year last year also had some hair loss so I took him to the vet worrying that it's ringworm and after all the tests he was all clear no definitive diagnosis and the spot began to fade. Prior this bald patches I felt a little bump on his ear not its a hairless area... I am just curious if it could be allergies? He does scratch a fully a lot these days.

Very clean...no specks of any foreign material
