Happy Gotcha Day Happy!

Today is Happy's first Gotcha Day.

I found her in a supermarket car park looking very sick and frail, but she has made a great recovery after a rough start in life. Here's the thread from when I first found her.

This is how she looked when I first got her home.


This was after plenty of food, antibiotics, dental surgery, long grooming sessions and lots of love.


I decided to treat them all to some extra snacks to celebrate Happy's first year with us..

Was it only a year ago?  It feels like she's been with you for ages.

She has come so far!  I love seeing pictures of Miss Happy.  What a great way to start my day!

Happy's thread is still one of my very favorites and I still go back and read it from the beginning when I need a pick me up. I adore Happy. It's so nice to see how well she fit in with the rest of the family. When someone say that ferals cannot become socialized, I think of your cats and say, "OH REALLY?"
