Our newest rescue cat is peeing all over (a few weeks. We've been trying to isolate which cat and thought it was territorial behavior at first) & wheezing & sneezing (past couple days). Her pee is really dark. And she's even peeing on the floor near the litter box. She also looks like she lost weight and is meowing at us a lot (she hasn't been interested in us before that).

Back story. Rescued one cat in January, added second cat in May (peeing cat). No problems at first then the peeing started. Took her to the vet in May, before the peeing started & she got a clean bill of health. Up to date on vacs.

Can't afford a vet bill until next week & they won't let us delay payment.

Is she dying? UTI? Respiratory infection?

She needs to go to a vet now. She very well may have a UTI and needs antibiotics. Get her to a vet. She's in pain. Find a vet that takes payments or apply for care credit. Do not wait a week, she could die if she's not treated.

Yes, get her to a vet tomorrow. Dark urine is a sign of kidney problems. There's no telling what has happened to her since the first vet visit.

Vet said she is very jaundiced and has liver failure, possibly also kidney failure. Named a bunch of conditions that could be causing it, including possibly a tumor. Lost 3 lbs. Said she is likely not going to make it. Said we could do blood work to determine the extent of her liver failure but she expects that it would uncover many other things Wrong with her that would likely lead to her having to be hospitalized and on tubes for care for a lengthy period of time. She said blood work would be more for our peace of mind in knowing what is wrong with her & that she likely won't get better. So it she was just put down. :(
