Strange red rash on outer ears

Hi,

I have a 9 months old male cat (neutered). Recently I find a strangely looking red spots on his outer ears. I have no idea what it could be, though I did some basic internet search. Have anyone met with something like that? Any advice is welcome!

That's very strange looking.  It might be ringworm although when I've seen ringworm the skin has looked a bit more abraded.   I would take him to the vet and get a firm diagnosis.  If it is ringworm, it's difficult to treat and control so you want to get started as soon as possible.  Let us know the result - if he does test positive for ringworm, there are several members who have dealt with infestations and have gathered a lot of information on treatment. 

Yes, I second a Vet visit.  Could be just about anything.  My first thought was ringworm too, although it doesn't quite look like it, but then again...
