I have been following Taming Gracie feral cat care on facebook for I think 3 years now? I remember when she first brought in Wannya and he sat on her lap for the first time. She has been doing trap neuter and release in her neighborhood now for I believe 4 or more years.

Recently they rescued a hurt kitty in the middle of a busy road. I am asking for anyone to share his story on facebook or other sites and donate a few dollars. She didn't reach the required money for the surgery but she was able to bring him home.

I have followed her stories about all the socializing kitties she has worked with. She truly is the Cat Whisperer. She posts pictures from her camera that is outside to monitor the cats. She has spent countless hours working to tame and socialize these cats that most people forget about. She would really appreciate any help for her kitties.

Thank you for reading this. I hope maybe we can continue to spread awareness on the benefits of spay and neutering of cats.

It's ironic that I was sitting here writing my own YouCaring plea for help with vet bills from two emergencies that I have been unable to keep up with when this popped up.  I know some people say "I'm too poor, I can't afford to give now" because they (like me) would like to give a significant amount, but I believe everyone can afford $5-6 and I hope that when my own YouCaring gets posted people will do the same for me.  It may be a small amount but if 10 or 20 people do it, it adds up.

No sooner had I done that than I got a phone call from a friend I've done work for in the past, but who moved to Florida.  Well she is back in town and wants me to work with her for a couple of days, so suddenly I will have a little income, just enough extra so I can buy that Steel Seal kit to fix my head gasket, which blew three days ago at a red light in the 98-degree Atlanta heat.  When she called, I had to say I'd love to work with you but I can't get there (she lives an hour away and there's no public transportation which would get me there.)  So she will actually pick me up (that's 2 hours driving for her!) on Wednesday morning, let me take her car home for the night, and bring it back Thursday morning and work all day Thursday, and then she will bring me home Thursday night, another two hours driving, but on a separate day.

The Cat Goddess works in strange and mysterious ways!

If you post the link red top I will donate a few dollars. I work lots of overtime so I can help out these cats. Its all for the kittahs! I also will share on my wall on facebook. I have many people who are involved in rescue as well. some who work at blind cat rescue. nancy. good people! amber too! So many wonderful folks I have met on facebook who all struggle with everything.

I hope you get a good mechanic to fix that blown gasket. Unfortunately most of the cost is to remove the junk in the way to replace said head gasket. the gasket itself is cheap. its the labor involved. when you get the gasket replaced=do the water pump as well. not sure what make. you have but chevies/gmc are notorious for a blown gasket and water pump at the same time. just my two cents. and since you will have the intake guts out-wont be hard to do the pump. I hate to see people get charged twice for labor when you can do certain things at the same time to kill two birds with one stone.

Its been years since I've worked on cars but I did take a year of automotive classes at the tech college. I quit when they gave me a 4" wrench to change out a leaf spring. I was hanging from the wrench up under the truck and I couldn't move that nut. I gave up. but I did do some smaller things. The instructor thought we should learn to change things out without airguns. baloney. anyways post your link and I will help you,
