Monday's Question of the Day - June 20, 2016

Happy first day of Summer to our friends in the Northern hemisphere!  It's a hot one here!  I went out and gave all my plants a little drink.  If my kid's pool didn't require a ladder to reach it; we would ALL be in it.    I really need DH to get it down.  He's got a fancy ladder that can be unforlded multiple ways and has some sort of metal peg system and I don't want to hurt myself over a kiddie pool.    Sooo we will be in the sprinkler I think.    

How many remote controls do you have in your house?

I think we have 8 unless you count that we can use our kindle fires and phones to control the roku players.  So 2 for the kitchen tv and roku, 1 for the kitchen radio, 4 for the tv/roku/blue ray player/vcr (yes I have one of those! It doesn't get used often but we have it!), and 1 for one of the ceiling fans in the kitchen/dining areas.  The chain on it broke and we tried to fix it but it was a royal pain!  So the remote was DH's solution. We do keep it in it's wall mounted holder; but it's still a remote. And a nifty invention.   

Two that are used and two not used. The TV and Android box remotes are used. Our air conditioner and fan both have remotes too but we don't use them.

i have 5 remotes here. one for my tv, and one for the roku, one for the dvd player, one for one of the window ac units (i never use this remote), and one for one of the portable quartz heaters (which i also never use this remote).

10 remotes. 2 are for air conditioners 1 is for air purifier the other 7 are for tvs and DVDs or vcrs
Oops make that 11 there's a remote for our cd/radio.

I only have two.  The remote from the cable company that is set up to also control the TV and sound bar.  I also have a remote for the Blu-Ray player but I hardly ever use that one.

Four - two for TVs, one for DVD player and one for radio/CD player.  I don't use any of them - I just use my computer.

Three.  DVR, DVD and TV.  I rarely use anything but the DVR one, though.

Way too many. And I barely know how to use only 2 of them.

I only have one for my very old-fashioned TV!!

None because I don't have a tv or anything that needs a remote control.

Three Genie controls, three controls that came with the respective televisions (used mainly for the sleep timer, if at all in some cases). I think there's one for the DVD player in the living room as well. So... 7?

lets see.. living room TV- 4. One to turn on the TV. one to use the cable box., one for my DVD player. and one to use my Roku. I use my Roku remote mostly- my TV goes into sleep mode and my roku remote wakes it up. if I want to use the cable box, I need to switch the input and use the other remote.

my bedroom TV has 3 for TV, Roku and cable box.

I also have a remote for my AC.. I had one for the living room, no idea what happened to it, but I have it for the bedroom.

A remote for my ipod stereo that I don't use anymore.

Ummm, none!

I don't have a TV or an AC or anything else that needs a remote control.

Three for air conditioners. Two TV remotes and two cable remotes. One for the receiver and surround sound, one for a VCR. We have a lot of older vcr's, stereos, etc that we have remotes for.

I have a remote for the house alarm on my key chain. Does that count? I know I am missing some.

I have one for the TV and five that I don't use.
