Would you consider spaying her and ending the pregnancy? That would really be the best option for mom's health since it is much too soon.

If not, start feeding her unlimited dry kitten food and meals of wet kitten food throughout the day now. This should continue throughout nursing. She can start having a dish of kmr too.

Where are the kittens from the first litter?

You can give mom a dish of KMR (kitten formula) every day. I recommend powdered PetAg KMR. You can also give her plain, full-fat yogurt.

You could have saved the kittens by supplementing them with KMR, so I'm glad you found our site.

Please do not let her out under any circumstances after this litter. She will need to be spayed. Back to back litters are extremely hard on cats. And the kitten needs to be fixed as well. We can help you locate a low-cost spay/neuter clinic if you'd like.

The trick to know if the kittens gets enough, is to weigh them every day, beginning from birth weight, on a good scale measuring - best in grammes, as its easiest to see.

If they add minimum 6+ g - preferably 10+ grammes a day, good, if not - not good and you must supplement.

With weak kittens or otherwise critical, you may even weigh every 12 hours.

Its of course possible these kittens were prematures - with premature its always a fight uphill - even if the owner is watchful and fight on.   But sometimes they can be saved, if you are vigilant enough.

You got some tips.  Goats milk is useful, both as supplement for adults, and in fact, also as emergency kmr for kittens.  So good to have it at hand, so you arent defenceless.

If you need much calcium supplement, more than in nourishing food, you can use crushed shells from a hard boiled egg.  Crush it into a fine powder, and sprinkle some alike salt, on her usual food.

You can do both.

Now, when she got an new pregnancy immediately after the last, she needs of course much good nourishments and calcium.  I understand you realize this, and that is why you do ask. Good.  :)
