He is a handsome, adorable looking cat.  Since you are adopting him, you will need a carrier to take him home with you on the weekends you are not at camp and buy wet and dry cat food for at the camp and at home.

He is lucky you want him in your life.  Sounds like an excellent match both ways!!
I do not need to say anything about the vet visits, they have been well covered here already.

Also, by the looks of him, he could stand to "fill out" a little.  Dry kitten chow to graze on between feedings along with the wet food will put a little "meat" on his bones.

He's a beautiful cat, his name really suits him too.

It's wonderful that you're giving him a good home.  He's a very lovely, very lucky boy.

As A final update to this thread (but not, by any mean, the final word on Nox),

the vet visit went great, I have his neutering scheduled for July 22nd and all of management at work is thrilled that he's coming home with me.

In fact, I brought him home this weekend (I understand it's stressful to bring a cat back and forth between locations, but there was a mountain lion sighting at camp and I decided I'd rather have a stressed cat than a dead cat) and my mom kind of bullied me into letting him out of my room and 'letting him explore the house' (I understood that he should really just stay in a single room), but he was so confident and amazing that it turned out great!

Here he is 'watching' soccer with my parents

I apologize if the pillow is considered offensive, for context it's a northern Californian slang word for 'a lot'

That's such a great update @camilaMilfuegos  He looks so comfortable there on the couch. He was destined to be a house cat I think, failed farm cat is right.

I hope everything goes will with his neutering. As you know, it's a very straight forward procedure for male cats. Nothing to worry about at all.

He's a beauty!  I love black cats.

So happy you are giving him a safe happy forever home and getting him fixed soon.  Male neutering is really non-invasive especially compared to a female spay.  I TNR'd a feral mama and daddy, and both are doing well outside having been released a day and a half after their surgeries. Mama was in a bit of discomfort for a couple of days but daddy had no issues at all. He's happily roaming the neighborhood, but hopefully his fighting and spraying days are over.

Oh he looks so good! Yes, he is the king of his domain!
Just curious, since your parents seem to like him (a lot), any reason he can't just stay there while you're at work? That would take care of the stressed part and make sure he doesn't get out and meet a really big kitty.
I love happy endings!
If you feel finished with this thread, I hope you will start a new one. That would be the start of a whole new life, new adventures!

...I legit totally forgot about that song. I mainly just thought "I don't remember how well known this word is, I don't want to get in trouble for offending someone"

@KSKatt, the cat is mine. My parents like him because all they need to do is play with him, any more responsibility than that they are not willing to contribute unless it's for a week or less, not a little less than two months. That would be the ideal case, yes, but the key players in this scenario are not interested at all in this solution.

Darn, that would have solved so much. Will you be able to keep him in at work?
