The old and the new.

Hey everyone. I'm Ally. I joined a little bit ago and have not posted here yet.

After a tragedy involving my fur babies years ago. I pretty much had given up on being a pet owner again, not for a lack of love for animals, just at the pain of loss.I have always been an avid pet lover......anyway not to stir up the past for now...The world had other plans for me.

A few years ago under some very special circumstances I ended up hand raising a tiny baby kitten, despite what I was told and the odds, today she is a very healthy (and big!) baby girl named Lily.

She has been my only cat until once again I was called on to take in a momma and her 6 wee ones as foster babies. (she chose me in a pretty amazing way and I got to be right there to witness her babies coming into this world)

That being said I am pretty sure that I am one cat and counting..as we may be keeping some of these babies.

All the kittens are doing very well except for one and that is how I stumbled upon this place.

I have a lot more to share and ask so you might see me posting around here.

It's a very nice way to relax and share cat information with other 'cat people' .
