I'm looking for some good sites that sell Frontline and prescription medicine for cats. Has anybody here had any bad experiences with buying prescriptions online?

Thanks,
Ellie

Hi Dana,

Thanks, they have good prices and free delivery.

I must have taken my stoopid pill today. I can't make out what Patches looks like in that picture.

I had a feral that I named Patches. She looked like a Siamese and had the prettiest blue eyes.

If it's prescription medication, it's really best to talk to the vet first, and only buy it on the advice from a vet.

Another way to reduce the cost is to buy frontline and advantage for dogs and reduce the dosage so that it is correct according to the cat's weight.it is the same medicine, just different strength...does anyone know anything about this??? i understand it can cut the cost almost in half....

We buy our flea stuff online at www.bullwrinkle.com scroll down towards the bottom where it says"Discount Pet Medicine". And then click on the brand you want, I have found that this is the cheapest one we have ever seen.We buy Revolution, it is the only one that works for us, it works on fleas, ticks, and ear mites, it also says it works on sarcoptic mange.

It's true you should never use medicine meant for a dog on a cat. But with Frontline and Advantage it's the exact same formula for cats and dogs. You just give a cat a smaller dose. I buy a six pack for a large dog and one pack is enough to treat 10 of my cats.

Chxyb,

Thanks for the web site. Do you need a perscription for Revolution?

If you go to the Advantage website(listed under vet/tech) http://www.nofleas.com/Advantage-Label.asp
It lists for all and the dosage is the same on all, by weight dog or cat. That is what I do. Buy the large dog, got a syringe listed with ml (without the needle of course). It saves me alot of money, since my dog is 75+ lbs and still grewing he takes one whole tube of advantage, where as the cats I can just about use one tube on all of them

Almost forgot, Walmart sells it, in the Pharmacy and Petco if you can not wait for mail order.

This is what I do.I get the Advantage for dogs over 55lbs and use a syringe to measure out the correct dosage for the cats.
