And it hurt

I was laying in bed about to turn the light off.. and I had been playing with my hand under the sheets for Saki. He likes to pounce like up and then down... back and forth, its really cute
Anyway... I stopped and was just laying there and all of a sudden he POUNCED with both paws straight into my stomach
I felt like a little kid punched me or something. It hurt! Little bugger.

Do your cats ever hurt you in strange ways like that

(I doubt it but just thought I'd ask LOL)

They are so cute when they play like that. Haha! Well Koa will go under the sheets and attack my feet. It's weird, but he just has something with biting or scratching your feet.

yep- that's why we stopped blanket wars a long time ago with our cats. We decided letting them think the bed was a playground was a not the best idea. As fun as it was to play prey under the blankets, the cats couldn't seem to grasp that the game was over sometimes. And yes, it does hurt!

Simon will purposely nip my calf if it is sticking out from under the sheets so that I'll get up and play with him. Max is just a moose and he will just walk over you like you are not there!

Trent got mad at Earl one time (Earl wouldn't give him something he wanted, or something to that effect) and jumped off of our bookcase headboard, ~6 ft tall, onto his.....lower abdominal area.
Yeah, that hurt.
Hurt me too - from laughing so hard!

Question has learned he can jump from the cat tree, about 6 feet up, down onto me while I am asleep. It is a very, very rude awakening, especially when he lands on my head or stomach.

Solaman used to attack us while we were in bed but we used the water bottle a few times and that was the end of that. Now he enters stealth mode when approaching the bed. It's pretty funny!

Well Squirt insists on laying/walking on me every night. His 14 pounds don't feel too great every place he steps.

I have also been scratched pretty badly when either Squirt or Joey decides it's time to climb up the leg of the jeans I am wearing like a tree trunk!

Ok (close your eyes kids)....worst story was when one of our babies (we were never sure which one did it), jumped off the dresser and landed on my husband's....well....errrr....let's just say tender area. We both woke up as he screamed, and every cat in the house ran away and hid for the rest of the night.

Funny in hindsite!!

Ahhhh my little boy Jack (who now weights 15lbs) loves to jump on mommy's belly.......

Especally at 3am - when he feels the NEED to bring me a WET furry ball to play with......

My Jack is too funny.... I'll push him off the bed & he thinks we're playing and jumps back on my belly.....

Only until Nick gets out of bed and "kicks" him down the stairs... and runs back in the bedroom to shut the door....

** Jack loves to be softly rolled "kicked" down the stairs, he thinks this is sooooo much fun **

So far out in left field I got lost
Oscar gets a kick out of nailing my feet. His favorite time is in the mornings and he wants food. I must admit that the last time he did that, which was a while back, he scratched me on the foot and hit a pumper
Blood was gushing out of there and when I screamed in pain when he did it, I think it just about gave him a heart attack.

Wow I just realized that he hasn't scratched me like that since then to wake me up and this is a good thing. I bet in the morning he will revert back to his old was of waking me up in pain

Not too much of that with our bunch, although not for nothing was Fawn called "The Intrepid Hunter of Feet" when she was younger!
When she caught them (often!) she "killed" them -- yes, that smarts!

When Nibs came to us he weighed 20 lbs. He carried it well -- didn't LOOK overweight. But when his life settled down, he lost 7 pounds. However, I don't know how he managed it, but he could still carry all 20 of the original pounds simultaneously on each of his four pointy paws, as he stood on my front -- and he just STOOD there -- wouldn't lie down
I learned to sleep on my side.

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Rosie jumps on me like that all the time.

Just before my boyfriend and i split, we were lying in bed and Rosie was on the bed. Then on purpose, i started moving my hand under the quilt just above his stomach where she pounced on him!!. I thought it was hilarious, but he grumbled and twisted under his breath(He was never a morning person!!).

Well, thats what he gets for leaving us!!!
