This is before my kitty became pregnant
and these are of her now. She became pregnant last month some time. My roommates brought home an intact male while she was in heat thinking i would be okay with breeding my baby girl. I am going tk get her fixed after this but my question in, how far along do you think she is??? I cant remember specifically when she was in heat :/ i really need help because im going to stay home with her when she is getting close. Icant leave her by herself. She is my princess and i worry about complications...

It's hard to tell from a picture. Do you remember when the male cat came into the house? Or when you noticed your cat's tummy getting bigger? Or have you seen any kitten movements in her tummy yet?

@sarthur2 i noticed her tummy getting larger about 2 to 3 weeks ago. They brought the cat into the house early last month these two pics attached dont do her tummy justice. Its actually quite large. Before she became pregnant she was as thin as a twig. She was VERY slim.
This last image was before she got pregnant

And to answer your question no, i dont feel any movement at the moment i lat my hand on her tummy all the time but cant feel anything. I can definitely feel the kittens though. I can also feel the toughness of her tummy where her kittens are.

I think she's too far along to terminate. What do you think?

She'll probably be okay, It's just a big job for a cat who is not fully grown yet herself.

She's a very pretty spotted tabby. [emoji]128149[/emoji]

I dont think I would have it in me to terminate the babies even if i could. She is 11 months old so she is VERY young. I raised her from the daybshe was born. She was my bottle baby. I even flew her here from hawaii when she was a month old.. so she is definitely my little princess. I told the roommate's if anything happens to her while she is having the babies then I will ruin them. I mainly want to know how far along do you think she is

Once you actually feel or see kitten movement, she has 2-3 weeks left. Since you say you haven't yet, she's probably got a couple of weeks to go at least.

She needs as much wet food and kitten chow as she wants now and through nursing. In fact, the dry food needs to be down 24/7.

You'll want to set up a nest for her in a quiet, private place like a closet with the door ajar. Once she has her babies, you'll want to keep her in your bedroom away from other pets.

Has the male cat been neutered yet?

I would not personally let your roommates anywhere near her or the kittens. Can you keep them safe and away? I would be horrified.

Okay. I can do that easily. We have a sweet aussie that is best friends with my cat. We can keep them away. As for the roommate's we rold them to get out and they wouldnt so we cancelled our lease at our apartment and moved into a new one so its just me and the fiancé. She is a hungry kitty all the time. I always make sure she has food!! Do you think there will be aby complications? She is a small kitty. That is a HUGE fear of mine. I would be devastated if i ever lost her. Im just happy we are away from those people and their pesky tom cat.

Your cat can hang out with the aussie for now. It's good you have moved. I'm sure it's a relief.

She will probably not have complications. Most cats do not. But nothing is guaranteed.

Sarthur2... I felt the kittens!! I first felt them a few days ago then today when i went back to check it was like they refused to stop moving!! It tickled my hand when i rested it on her tummy. Is it normal for my usually VERY loving kitty to not be so loving? Also, she seems to hate that i want to touch her tummy. I never push on her belly. I just gently rest my hand on it...

That's great!

Pregnant cats usually go through a phase where they do not want their tummies touched. I really do not know why. Then, when they are laboring, they seem to appreciate a tummy rub.

Sarthur2 my kitty just started leaking a light brownish liquid from her vagina. Is this normal? I noticed this at 2:31 also, yesterday i noticed i could get milk from her teats.

It sounds like pre-labor/delivery discharge to me. With that and her milk coming in, she should be very close to going into labor.

Have you noticed any contractions yet?
