Hi all,

I've posted a couple of other questions already but thought I'd introduce myself formally :)

I got my first cat almost a year ago, a DSH tabby named Sloan. He's a chatty, rambunctious, approx. 2.5 year old boy and weighs in around 11.5 pounds.

Earlier this week I adopted Sirius, a LARGE (feels at least 15 pounds,) black, DLH. He's still adjusting to home so doesn't have a ton of personality yet but is VERY affectionate (loves to snuggle, especially at night) and sometimes vocal when he first sees me.

We live in Saint Louis, MO on a college campus (for my job.) Waiting a few days for Sirius to really settle in and be comfortable before we try to get the brothers getting along (which is making mom a little anxious.)

Just saying hi! Excited to learn from all the experience here as Sloan is my first kitty (I grew up in a dog family, we always had Labs.) But I love my two boys and spoil them rotten (as any of my friends will tell you.)

Oh they're both gorgeous.  Best of luck with the introductions.  This article may give you some ideas.  [article="32680"]How To Successfully Introduce Cats The Ultimate Guide[/article]

Both are soo beautiful! Sloane looks so fierce (in a good way lol) and Sirius looks like a little black cotton ball :) I wish you best of luck introducing them~

Thanks, all! Sloan tries really hard to be fierce, but most of the time he's a teddy bear haha.

After some initial fighting and disagreements, the boys are getting along pretty well!
