Saw the cardiac surgeon this yesterday and liked him a lot. He will do the catheterzation procedure on Wed., 6/22. He said my EKG's have been "abnormal" but that doesn't necessarily mean a blockage. The only way they will know is to do the cath procedure. If there is no blockage I can go home the same day. If they find a blockage and put in a stent I need to say overnight. He doesn't feel there is anything really serious but just want to be sure. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks for all your concern.
Oh - I like that he has a sense of humor. When explaining the procedure he said he'd give me some "happy juice". I said I'd rather have a Pina Colada - but he said "this is a lot better than a Pina Colada". I think I'd rather have the Pina Colada.
