I have 2 kittens that are 8 weeks old and have worms

I went to the doctor last Friday and they gave one dose of the meds that day and one dose for me to give them this Friday.

However I went back to the vet yesterday for Coccidia because I was worried they still had it, however they didn't but they did still have worms (I expected because I didn't give their second dose yet...)

So after that they gave me 3 more doses of the worms meds to give yesterday(tues), today (weds) and tomorrow (thurs). I asked them if I should still give them Friday's dose but they never answered??

So my questions are should I give Friday's dose? And also do you think this will get the worms out of their system for good? (because I heard most vets give two sets of two doses)
Do you think I will have to give another set of meds?

One dose of any dewormer will not kill all of the adult worms plus unhatched eggs.  You'll need to give at least a few doses according to the package instructions or the vet. I'd give Friday's dose as well. If the worms persist, you'll have to call the vet and get additional doses. Sometimes it takes a few weeks of dosing to completely get rid of worms.

okay! When the worms go away does their runny poop go away too, or does the poop stay runny for a while? Are their ways to tell when their worms go away other than looking in the poop because they cover it up, and sometimes there aren't worms in it?
