I have 2 8-9 week old kittens and they have worms and just finished taking their coccicida meds, so their poop is basically completely liquid (is that normal?)

Because of this the kittens poop always run on their feet which not only makes a huge mess but I think it could also keep them sick because they lick their feet to clean it off which I would guess reinfects them.

As of right now I am using boots & Barkley deodorizing dog wipes but I don't think it's cleaning off all the poop and they are still licking it. (Do you have any suggestions on how to clean off the poop?)

Also on another note Is it Normal to give cats baths because I've never seen anyone do it but i feel like it'd be much more hygienic, and if it is normal how often should I do it? THANKS SO MUCHxxx

Have they been dewormed as well as having taken their round of meds for the Coccidia.  What were they given for that anyway?

As far as cat given baths, yes, that happens, but don't give them a FULL bath too frequently as it can dry out their skin.  Here's an article on bathing cats:

Now, I found THIS thread which talks about cleaning dirty kitten paws:

What type of litter are you using?  You know that with kittens, you shouldn't be using clumping litter yet.  They might eat it and that can cause major issues in their digestive tracts.

They are being dewormed right now (today is their last dose) but I'm scared all of the worms aren't out, they had one dose no Friday and then had another dose this Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and now this Friday (but one still has a pot belly, and both still have runny poo.) as for the Coccidia they had two doses of that medicine and don't have it anymore. Thank you for all of the articles I'm be sure to check them out! I just started using the blue buffalo naturally fresh litter per suggestion of someone on this site, but if you have any suggestions I'll be glad to have them!

Did you get the DeWormer from the Vet?  Is it for ALL worms or just certain ones.  Maybe it killed some, but not the ones they have
(ie, kill tape worms, but maybe they have round worms or something similar)  Also, what meds were they on for the Coccidia?

I don't know about that litter...it's clumping and I was always told not to put kittens on clumping litter until they are older, but in reading about it, it says it's ok for kittens, so guess things have changed on certain brands.

All the meds were from the vet, I do not know the name of the meds because they just gave me the ammount of doses I needed in their syringe instead of giving me the bottle (I will check in a minute to see if the meds are on the paperwork that I got) I also don't know if the meds just treated one type of worm, but if they saw both types wouldn't they have to treat both? Is it possible they could have missed a type of worms?

Also I went to a different vet yesterday because I was worried that their poop was still runny and that they still had worms. At this vet office they did another fecal test and saw they had some bacteria (idk the name) that's caused by drinking dirty water, mainly with bird poop or just eating bird poop. I don't know how they got this because I've never taken them outside and I don't have any birds, also when I went to the first vet he didn't see it in either fecal test (so it would have had to come from my house right?) this second vet also saw they had upper respiratory problems (I thought they would) because one had a runny eye however he said it wasn't bad. They also had that at the shelter, so do u think the first vet could have missed that too?? Also in the fecal test the second vet said that he didn't see worms but I'm worried they just didn't show up because they had just taken worm meds 2 hrs before, and that they will reoccur.. Is that possible? So sorry for all the questions I am just at a loss with all their medical problems and feel like they have gone through so much, and I just want it to be over for them.

As for the litter I am not sure about it, I've never seen them try to eat it but I'd rather be safe than sorry and I'll probably get a different litter today when I go to get them more wet food!

If they are now being treated for that new bacteria, that, hopefully, will take care of their diarrhea.

As long as you are treating the worms with several doses of the de-wormer, you should be okay.  If they reappear, THEN you can treat them again. You'll know if they show up again

As to the URI, it's possible the first Vet missed it, or it was just beginning at that point.  So now are they being treated for that too?  If that are on antibiotics, this could CAUSE lose stool, just because antibiotics can do that
.  But ata least the bloating should go away.  And, you could give them probiotics in between the doses of antibiotics, but with small kittens, you might want to call that Vet and discuss how much to give. I usually give my adult cats 1 human capsule per day split between their meals.

The litter SAYS it's ok for kittens, so I'm guessing it is.  One of that type says it's  Pellets, i believe, so it's probably really ok.  (I think I saw 3 options of the Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh when I checked online after you posted about it)

The kittens stool is getting much better and they are feeling good again (even playing a lot More!) I think this is thanks to their new meds and also because the vet injected liquids & anti nausea stuff which helped revive them! The vet said that if they aren't better by this Friday I can take them back but other than that I have an appointment on July first to get their second shot and get another stool sample to see if they still have worms. The dr said they reason for the loose stool was from the bacteria & now that they have those meds it's almost normal! Also they dr said that they mixed together the meds for the bacteria and the URI together! I did see cat probiotics at the pet store the other day, but I didn't know if they were good, and if it's better to just use human ones.
