Cat Man Weirdo

This guy thinks he's a tiger...... Honestly, it looks to me like anyone can kick his butt. Not very tiger like IMO.

I like cats and all, but this is just scary to me.

yup i agree this is one messed up individual. what a waste of money and time trying to turn himself into a tiger , when he could be sending it to take care of real tigers, (and kitties) Freak out! hootiecat

What a freak

This guy has issues, and I agree that the money he spent on reconstructing himself could have been put to a better use.
um....alrighty then.

Hope he never loses that job he has, because he won't ever land another one looking like that!

Hootie, I completely agree - why not spend the thousands of dollars to save real tigers?????

Oh man! That's HERE!!!!!! I'm glad I haven't seen him.

There's a guy in England doing the same thing only as a Leopard. I've seen him on TV several times.

One word: Idiot. Freak. Moron. Take your pick.

I can't believe he really cares about tigers, he seems to be completely self-absorbed.

the reconstructed lips, and the synthetic whiskers is what got me....

I wonder if he eats raw meat. I'd like to watch him catch a deer.

He now wants a surgeon to graft tiger fur on to his skin, like a perma-wig.
Can you imagine how he is going to smell on a hot day

It takes all kinds. The money definitely could have been put to better use - like for visits to a psychiatrist. The fact that some "medical professionals" have gone along with his demands doesn't say much for some plastic surgeons.

We recently had the tattoo expo here, and there was a guy that was billed as the lizard man. He had all sorts of tattoos to emulate lizard skin, and he had the forked tongue, too, yuck! The interviewer asked him what would happen if someday he wanted to become the leopard man, and he said, "Then I'm screwed!"

That will teach him

What a weirdo
Maybe he should be put in a zoo!
Just imagine what he'll look like when he ages; his stripes will droop.
I wonder what that does to ones health over time to have so much skin covered in tatoos, since it is an organ after all.
It must be nice to have money to throw away. As others said, it's too bad he didn't put it to use for someone elses good.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

That is just sick, sick, sick.

weirdo.....

I watched a show about him and others like him who had issues with how they see themselves this people are the drastic version of those who get all kinds of operations like boob jobs nose jobs etc ...they take it to an extreme ...its sad that there are those among us that have some how gotten the message that they arent ok as they are , who feel they need to go to extremes like this.

Things arent always what they seem, these ppl deserve our understanding because they are truly ill
post #19 of 53
RBG, heavy tattooing does not affect one's health. The ink does not block the pores, and after they heal, the skin functions normally.
I agree that all that money could have been spent on therapy, or even on nice tattoos! Those stripes are so ugly and poorly applied.
Ok there are names for people like that

I can't imagine the pain he went through for the tatoos and whisers etc. I have one tiny tatoo of a rose on my leg and it made me just about pass out yeah I know Whimp! I can tell you this I will never get another one. I too think that he could have spent his money on tigers or whatever instead of that.

this dude is not playing with a full deck

I saw a documentary on tv about this guy. Its his body and all that but I agree about the spending money on REAL tigers would be far better. I have a tattoo, just a small one on the top of may arm. That HURT LIKE HELL so what this guy goes though would make me faint! Its the whiskas thas get me, they are implanted into something so they can be taken out I think. Harmless I guess but very odd

At least he'll never have to go shopping for a Halloween costume.
I've seen him before, and the 'Geek' over here in the UK that looks like a lizard as well!

To be honest, Im kinda upset by the majority of people's attitudes here. Really. Who are any of you to call someone else a freak or a weirdo? If he has the money and thats what he wants to do with it, then power to him. It's HIS body and his life. I respect him for being brave enough to do this, because god knows he probably gets daily abuse for it.
It hits a nerve because I myself am often branded a freak or a weirdo purely because of how I look. Im 6ft, have long black hair, 11 piercings, 5 tattoos, I like to wear dog collars and spikes. I get called a freak all the time, I've even been threatened to be knifed in the past. I've had rocks thrown at me in the street and been spat on. Am I weirdo? Do I deserve the same ridicule that you are all so happily dishing out to this guy? After all, I am no different. I've modified my body as I wanted to with my piercings and tattoos.

I don't think you truely realise the price you have to pay just to be the person you want to be unless you've been there. I would guess by the ridicule and mockery aimed at this man that no one here has ever dared to be themselves and had to endure abuse because of it. Seeing all these 'what a freak!' replies just makes me think of the same people who yell crap at me in the street or spit at me, and they're ALWAYS ignorant morons. You find that the people who put up with this and do what they like regardless of what others will think are usually the strong minded intelligent folk.
My life would be MUCH easier if I took out all my piercings and dressed "normally" but then I'd be lying to myself and being someone Im NOT just to be accepted.
I say good on this guy. If this is who he feels he really is, I respect him for doing this and having the balls to do it and not give a damn what the majority of ignorant people will say to him.

Ziggy - you are right. I apologise if I have hurt your feelings, I did not think that way and thank you for your post for making me it from another perspective.

I guess it is a matter or choice and personal taste.

Thats ok, It doesn't bother me that much because, as I said, you need to be fairly thick skinned if you want to go around looking like I do When I was kid (I've been dressing this way since I was 11) it REALLY bothered me when people would yell at me in the street but now you get used to it. Im sure this guy is MORE than used to it, I'd imagine that if he were the easily upset type, he wouldn't have done this. But all the same, I do respect him in a way.

Ziggy, I know exactly what you are saying. I have several facial piercings, and about 40% coverage in tattoos all over my body. I get stared at, harrassed, and snickered about constantly. I have been a piercer for several years, and married to a tattoo artist for 19 years. We have seen more so called "freaks and weirdos" in one month than a lot of people see in a lifetime. It is not the tattoo coverage or the piercings that I object to, or the fact that the guy has made very unconventional choices. It is the fact that people like you and me are judged by the measure of this guy, who, IMHO is seriously disturbed. People that just like tattoos and piercings, and are perfectly nice, upstanding people, start getting more attitude from the general public every time one of these guys that supposedly "do it only because they love it" puts themselves in the public eye, promotes themselves internationally, and acts like everyone is nuts because they think he is. If someone wants to do this, fine, but they should not expect the world to accept it as normal.

Though I understand completely what you're saying, and agree with it to an extent, I wouldn't like to label this guy as seriously disturbed unless I had met him, spoken to him or seen something of him other than just whats in the media because, lets be honest, the media like to hype everything (and everyone) up as being bigger, freakier and more 'disturbed' than they are. Im not saying he ISN'T, he could well be, it's certainly not something you see everyday, but I wouldn't like to say for sure untill I had some other form of proof. Im sure theres people out there who think WE are seriously disturbed for piercing and tattooing ourselves. I know some people look at my piercings and say 'are you crazy? why would you do that to yourself?' Some of the most seriously disturbed people I know look fairly normal!
Im not sure if he deliberately put himself in the public eye, as in contacted TV shows and magazines, or wether he just couldn't avoid it. If it WAS a deliberate attempt to grab attention and to shock, then I think it's wrong. Same as I think people who dress 'freaky' or get piercings JUST to shock are wrong. I do know what you're saying though but theres too many things I don't know about this guy yet to make a decision on wether I think he's genuinely messed up or not.

Ziggy, you don't sound like a freak to me, you sound beautiful. (Yes, I am absolutely serious!) Then again, I'm a freak at heart but could never express it beyond makeup and clothes and hidden tattoos because of the jobs I had/have.

I guess if it makes the guy happy - live and let live. But honestly, and I think this about all of those people with their entire heads covered in tattoos - have they thought about what happens beyond when they are "young and cool"? I saw a band (terrible band too BTW, so I don't think they will be getting a mainstream record deal any time soon) and the singer's head was covered with tatts, beyond the hairline and extending onto his face. OK, looks "cool" now when he's 20-something and in a band and wants to look all "gangsta" (he was white, too, which made him look even more ridiculous IMO). But when he doesn't make it in the music industry, and he has to get a "real" job when he's 30-something, what then? 30-somethings with tribal facial tattoos won't be able to present themselves as professionals. Depending, of course, on the profession. Cat Man is a computer programmer, obviously makes good money, and probably rarely has to meet face to face with the clients who pay for his software. Of course, I would assume he already had the skills and the high paying job before he made himself into a tiger... Perhaps in a fairly young and specialized field like that he could get another position with another company if his skills are good enough, but if he ever has to or wants to change professions? Good luck!
