I had a kitty about 6 or 7 weeks old, took him to the vet on friday, for his check up and the vet  said he was very healthy his weight 2 pounds took blood sample for a test then gave him 50ml of deworming and another shot and put the flea medicine on his neck, sunday morning around 9:00 am he was screaming and had a seizure and die. The vet couldn't find anything wrong, his intestines were full of gas they don't know why he died, we were asking around and they say is the effects of the vaccines that cause his death. What should i do? They want me to pay close to $400.00 for the vaccines, at the moment i had the care club which you pay every month, or ask for a refund of what i pay at the time of the visit? we are very very sad we loved the kitty like a baby.

I thought they had to be 8 weeks old for vaccines? In the future don't do all those chemicals together. they should be spaced out at least 48 hours apart-flea treatment first then worming then vaccines in my eye-but not many vets agree with me.

I am so sorry you had to witness a horrible ending to your kitten.

I'm so sorry this happened. It's possible that your kitten had a reaction to an ingredient in the vaccines, but it's equally possible that your kitten had other issues as well.

It feels like adding insult to injury to have to pay the bill for a kitten who has passed away. I've been in your shoes before. It hurts.

You do owe for the vet bill. You can ask if the vet will wave any part of it out of kindness since your kitten died, or request to pay it off in installments, but they can refer it to collections if you do not pay.
