How clear can cats see!!

I've read various reports on cats eyes, such as they can't see as clear as we can, and what they see is just a blur to them?.

Also, that they dont see things in colour, only black, white and green?!

I'm not really sure. I know Amber has very good eye sight. Last month she saw a small drop tail lizard on my bedroom wall. She can also see mice in amongst the rubbish/leaves/twigs we have down the back.

My Mum says cats can see the colour red though + have better night vision than humans.

I know Rosie can see the 'tiniest' of fly, which is the reason why i'm so curious?

I have heard they have great night vision, as long as there is some kind of light as a guide. So you don't have to worry about leaving bright lights on for cats, just a night light etc.
