I can get close to all of them (while eating) and just spray them.   (Trying hard to not hit food of course)

My only concern is that sometimes these chemicals do more harm than good and I want opinions on whether 8 years in teh wild is a good time to start.

THANKS

Are you wanting to use frontline for ticks, fleas or both?  From my experience, my feral cats freak out when the drops are placed on them.  I can touch each one of my crew after working them for years, but applying flea/tick treatment is almost impossible.  They hate the scent and freak out for hours after the drops.  I did it a few times, but was worried that one of them might have a reaction.  I switched to Program liquid which I can mix into food.  It only works for preventing fleas and does not kill current fleas.  I have found it on Bestflea.com

I guess I was thinking more for health concerns.   Bad reactions.

I have a spray already that I thought Id use for them.   Maybe Ill pass if yours dont like the smell.    They do get diatomaceous earth in their food.  Sometimes I try to sprinkle on them.

THANKS for hte reply
