Okay so this is kindof a weird question, but can neutering a male cat too young cause him to keep his high pitched kitten meow?

My cat Tesla is 8 months old now and still sounds like he's a little 2 month old kitten. So his voice hasn't "dropped" yet. Is this normal? He was neutered at 6-7 weeks of age.

Not sure on that one, but our Casey is 15 months now and he still has that tiny "barely heard" kitten cry. He gets ever so slightly louder when we're in the car headed for the vet, but generally he's just a little bundle of squeaks and brrts and whispery meows. A couple of cats ago we had a part siamese who could raise the roof, so we're not minding his little squeaks

His meows are kinda quiet most of the time but when he is hungry he will practically yowl for food, ecept his yowl is really high pitched like a little kitten. I'm just not sure its normal is all

It may just be that he has a little voice and that's one of his sweet little quirks. If you're concerned you can always ask your vet, but I wouldn't worry about it unless he seems uncomfortable or it seems like his throat hurts. Sounds like he eats okay, so it's likely he just has a quiet voice.
