My cat is pooping out of the litter box and acting strange. A week ago i recognized that every time she used the litter box she ran out of it. I read on the internet it is because she feel pain while pooping/peeing. Dunno why the pain is there. Today she pooped outside the box and she was walking at the same time, it looked like she was scratching her butt on the ground. I am sure she feels pain when pooing because she is licking her but and she doesn't sit down when this is happening.

Thanks for the answers!

Definitely sounds like a medical issue. It could be constipation or her anal glands could be impacted. I recommend taking her in to see a vet. The anal gland issue is not as common, but if that is the problem they need to be expressed by a professional. If it's constipation, she may or may not be at the point where she needs a vet's help like an enema, but it would still be good to be seen so you can ask your vet about various options. She should be fed wet food to make sure she's not dehydrated. Miralax can be added to wet food to help soften stools and sometimes pumpkin can help, but your vet will know more about her specific issues and needs.

I totally agree with @Molly92.  She needs to see her vet.  It could be anything from constipation to the anal gland issue, to a hip or spine issue.  She's trying to tell you something by going outside the box.  That's her way of communicating that she needs help.
