So, our pretty lady Sadira is due in a couple of weeks we think (not sure of exact date) but I can't wait! How do you all stay so patient???

Also, she seems to have adopted our ginger kitty (not the daddy cat) as a surrogate dad, she shouts at him to follow her round and clean her and basically do anything she wants, has anyone else experienced this?

Hello! I am going to copy paste some details from another thread since they are also applicable here;

It's usually about 2-3 weeks after you started feeling kitten movement.

Now is a good time to set up some nest areas for mom. Think dark, quiet places like a closet with the door ajar.

You will also want to get some kitten supplies - a small scale to weigh them daily, and kitten milk replacer and a needleless syringe in case they aren't gaining enough. For the kmr, look for powdered, and we always recommend PetAg as a brand.

Can you keep mom 100% inside and away from intact males until her kittens are weaned? She can get pregnant again within a week of delivery, and without going into heat.

Yep we've got her loads of boxes set up around and got some kmr, scales etc ready.

They're all inside cats and she's got the run of upstairs so she's well separated and we will be getting her spayed too.

Okay well we definitely must have timed it wrong because we got home and she's had two kittens! They're feeding already and she seems very chilled out! I'll try weigh them either late tonight or early in the morning once she's settled down with them but I'm so happy!!! I can't get a good picture yet but I'll be posting pics tomorrow :)

Wonderful! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I'm glad the male cat was being sweet to her. Is he neutered? She may not want him around her kittens right now. New moms tend to be protective.

Yeah he is neutered. We've put him back downstairs tonight so she can get some peace.

Another two kittens have made an appearance! All feeding well and look good so far [emoji]128513[/emoji]

The first two are girls.  Can you take another photo of the last kitten?

I'm going to disagree with talking peanut. I think the second one is a boy, and the first and third are girls. Of course, it's really hard to tell at such a young age. Things may look different in a few weeks.
