Which worms would give my outside feral a thin, poor coat and a baggy belly?  He eats stuff he catches, he most likely has worms.  And I've suddenly realized some Revolution I have is not stale dated yet AND, now I can handle this cat enough to dope up the back of his neck.  His weight is right for the stuff I have.

Revolution[emoji]174[/emoji]  for Cats:

Revolution (selamectin) is a topical parasiticide used in the treatment and prevention of heartworm disease, fleas, ear mites and canine sarcoptic mange. When used in cats it also treats certain hookworm and roundworm disease.
Looks like it won't get any tapeworm.  I haven't seen any sign of tapeworm but maybe I just haven't seen it.

I would use the revolution and need an additional tapeworm med, it is prazaquantel that gets tapeworm.

That one you might hide in a small amt of canned food.

Ok, I'm going to try it tomorrow.  Hiding stuff in his food is a problem as he does not eat in our presence, preferring to spend his time with us cuddling.   :)  And we are feeding two cats, it will be hard for me to know which one gets it.  Sometimes a third cat.

MIssion accomplished.  Just have to continually warn the OH not to pet him on the back of his neck and keep the dog away from giving him kisses for several hours.  This nice feral cat was easier to dope up than one of my own cats was.  One of own used to freak out when the cold, wet stuff hit her skin and and acted like I was trying to do her grievous harm.

I have one like that also! Silly kitty.

Great, and revolution dries fast, as you may have already noticed, so the chance of wiping it off is slim unless in the first minutes.

Good job!
