17 year old kitty with cancer

Hi, after spending hundreds on vets visits I don't know what else to do. My kitty has aggressive cancer and it's taking steroids but now the tumours around her tummy area that she has been licking are not healing. Two weeks with the cat cone and no improvement. I've taking her to the vets twice in 3 weeks and they keep telling me give her one steroid a day then two a day but makes no difference.
I tried honey with no luck as well.
She eats and cuddles and I know her time will come where I will have to put her to sleep but for now I want her tumours to dry plus she is helping me with my grief of losing my husband 3 months ago, plus this is his kitty and all I have left of him.

She was diagnosed with cancer last year. She had two tumours removed.

There is a specialized online community of people who are caring for cats with cancer. They've been active for the past 19 years - it's an excellent place to get advice, information and support......that's where I would be heading.

I'd recommend that you get a new separate email address to use exclusively for the group - they use email for their postings, so that will help you keep track of the information flow.
