I got my cat spayed, how long does she have to wear the collar?

Does she have internal dissolving stitches? When was the surgery?

If she has internal stitches she does not need the collar. All cats will lick the incision area. The vet does not want her to prematurely pull out her stitches if they are external. If they are, you can still take the cone off when you can supervise her to give her a break, and especially when she eats.
