Just signed on and saw 46 new messages and was sure I was going to see that kittens had arrived. Hopefully the ripples and howling means things are happening and those babies will be be soon.
I wish that was the case. Maybe she will wait till the kids are in bed ? When I can be with her constantly ?

I think I'm going to need to get my head around the fact that she's going to get this section tomorrow. She's panting now and again but she's just ate a full pouch of food and half of her bowl of dry food. The vet said when labour was progressing she probably wouldn't want to eat at all.

I agree with you. And I think the drug is wearing off now that she's eating. But it's good she's eating. She needs to keep her strength up and keep the babies going.

The plus to this is she'll already be spayed! And you'll have the healthy kittens to enjoy as well!

It's really going to be okay. She won't be the first cat to need a section. I'm just glad it's not an emergency. And she'll still be able to nurse.

I've got a meeting this evening and I don't want to go, I need to stick this out! Sending lots of hurry up kitty vibes to you!
She's very lucky she has a mum as caring and kind as you, she will need lots of yummy food when she's through this.

Obviously I'm glad she's fine in herself and I know the kittens are okay just now. Just terrified of her going through the operation. Let's hope and pray it just happens tonight when none of us expect it.

It's just not going to happen, I can feel it in my gut. Will she be allowed home with her kittens after the procedure or will they be kept in the vets surgery until their bigger ?

You should be bringing her home tomorrow afternoon following surgery - with kittens! [emoji]128149[/emoji]

Oh I really hope so. It will be bad enough not being with her when she's going through that. She's still napping. She's not had anymore discharge either.

Be sure to ask your vet for 3 days of pain medicine, unless he gives her the long-acting pain shot. She'll recover quickly though!

Omg I hadn't even thought of the pain relief she will need afterwards. I feel like such an irresponsible owner especially when I don't have the first clue about any of this.

She's just had some red/brown discharge stuff again. Just a small amount but she was meowing and purring quite loudly before hand. Could this be contractions causing the discharge to come out ? She won't let me touch her at all now without hissing and spitting and she keeps hiding under the bed so I can't touch her (unless I move the bed)

The sooner 9:30 tomorrow comes the better. I just don't want to see her suffering anymore. It's not fair on her.
