New here

Just thought I'd introduce myself since I'm new here and will (probably) post, and definitely read a lot. I have a 1-year-old calico named Tika who is the cuddliest, most adorable kitty ever - only to us though, she hates strangers - and yesterday morning we brought home our second baby, an 11-week-old bengal named Shiva. We've got Shiva confined right now, and have been scent swapping and offering wet food on opposite sides of the door at dinner time. We're planning on letting them get a peek at each other in the next day or two, sooo wish me luck?

A big welcome to you, Tika and Shiva.    And good luck with the introductions.  It sounds like you are doing everything right.  This is a very friendly site so I hope you do post a lot - the more the merrier!    We would also  love to see pictures of your babies.
