I don't know weather you guys would be able to help me but I rescued a baby kitten last October time she was about 11-14 weeks old, she went missing a few months back and when we found her she was pregnant... She has giving birth to a little kitty yesterday about 2pm and I think she may have stopped her labour (from what Iv seen on here) I can feel some little kitty's inside of her moving... I love her to bits and I really don't want to get rid of her but by the vet prices I just would not be able to pay for her to go to the vets as I'm a single mum myself, was just wondering how long you would suggest me to leave her to see if she still gives birth or weather there was anywhere that would be able to help me.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, and welcome to TCS!

She'll have them when her body is ready. Cats can deliver days apart. It depends on how many times she mated while she was in heat. The other kittens may have been conceived a few days later, and it's better that they not be born prematurely. As long as she is not in distress there's no need to worry.

How is the first kitten doing?

Do keep mom inside at all times now. Very kind of you to take care of kitty! Please keep us posted on how things go! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I agree with above.  Such pauses are quite usual, and with any luck, the rest will come out when their time of delivery has come.  If momma is OK, no visible problems, do watch and be vigilant, but you dont need to panic - nor run to the vets.

How is the first delivered kitten? Is it OK, fully made - fur, round and nice?

Or is it visibly premature? thin, screawny, not much fur?  If premature, it will be a fight uphill.  If it survived the first hour, be prepared to step ina and feed it. Handraise it essentielly.  Goats milk is good for this.  Or some good kmr - kitten mothermilk replacement.

Come back and report, so we will give you further guidance if need be.
