Super random thread, but I have very hard to fit feet. I bought a pair of these Skechers Yoga Mat sandals (in black) for my vacation and wore them all week with a lot of walking done. They are super comfortable. I bought them at Famous Footwear, but they are a lot cheaper on Amazon. I just bought two more pairs in other colors -

Oh, gosh. I can't wear shoes with that thingy between the toe. They drive me bonkers. But I am glad you found some that you like and some in more colors.

Ooh those do look comfortable! They also look a bit complicated, but I'm guessing that the fabric is quite stretchy so it's easy to slip over your foot.

My feet are large and wide; so hard to fit too.  Pre-kids I had a pair of sketchers that I loved.  Last fall I found some relaxed fit with memory foam ones. They have been pretty great!!  I was getting frustrated finding shoes that felt good and looked nicer than wearing running shoes everywhere.

I have a pair of A2 sandals that are comfy; but kind of heavy.  I wear those most of the time in the summer.  I'm going to keep my eye out for these in stores!

Skechers make really great shoes overall! I'm not really into sandals in general (I hate my feet!) but these DO look very comfortable. On the rare occasions I do wear sandals, usually they rub my feet the wrong way and I end up with blisters, but these look like they wouldn't do that so much.

Whenever I decide to go to Vegas again, I think I'll look into these.

I really like those, Karen. My problem is that I don't like the thong between the toes. After a while it tends to rub in that area and rubs through my skin. I don't know why and it doesn't matter if the sandals fit well otherwise. I can't wear flip-flops for the same reason....and I used to live in them when I was a kid. But I really like the way they look.

Me neither! Nearly all Japanese summer sandals come with that thong thing, but it makes my toes curl just to look at it.

If you see them in a store, try them on. They feel nothing like a normal thong between the toe. They are much, much softer.

It's way easier than it looks. :lol3:

I was online just now looking for open heel clogs--I narrowed the search parameters for size, 1" heel or less, black.  This is what came up:

     Um.....yeah, that's exactly I'm looking for--"Iron Fist Zombie Stompers".

I bought these a few months ago -

I have a pair of these and love them. I just ordered another pair.  They have good arch support and I can go on fairly long walks in comfort.

For some reason when I click on the link it comes up as a men's hiking boot.

I think this is the right link -

ETA - I can see them on the website if I search for them, but my link keeps redirecting to the boot too. :dk:

Oh, those Easy Spirit clogs look nice, I'll have to check those out, thanks.  I think they may be a little more my style than the Zombie Stompers.

Those sketcher sandals look comfy, though I usually don't do the 'toe thingy' either.

They look comfortable!! I love Sketchers. My sister bought me a pair of their air walk slip ons and they are literally more comfortable than slippers. These look like they'd be great for going to the beach with! I don't normally like thongs but I bought a pair of Champion flip flops three years ago that have never given me blisters between the toes once. They're like the material Crocs use. But for the boardwalk you need something that won't catch so easily on the boards, and those Sketchers look perfect for that.

I bought a pair of crocs sandals with such a hard piece between the toes it ended up burning. My DiL took them.
