Hello everyone!
Jake is my persian cat, he was given to me because the original owner hated cats so she used to beat him with a broom. He was very shy in the beginning, he used to hide behind the washing machine. It took me months to gain his trust but now, 3 years later, he's the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is the type of cat the welcomes you after you're gone, he meows a lot. When I read he is always next to me (or on top of the book if I ignore him so I can pet him haha), he always blinks slowly, but when he is too spoilt, he only closes slowly one eye! haha it is really funny
he's also a diva, everytime anyone visits, he goes to meet everyone with his tail up and purr to them

And this is "Kitty" (that's her name, my mom named her, she only speaks Spanish). She's 6 and she's my mother's favorite, she sleeps with my parents and she always is like the clown in the family! She is really funny and active but she doesn't like everyone and if you pet her for too long, she would probably bite you. If you're in front of the TV and leave, she'll take your spot and she is the one in charge always! Every time we get visitors, she always leaves and stays in her place, sometimes so doesn't, but she doesn't like to greet anyone, she just ignores them
