She hasn't eaten now for 2 days! Only really a nibble yesterday, but she is still drinking a lot so I'm not worried!

I've been following this thread, waiting for babies.  When you say she hasn't eaten for 2 days, do you mean that literally? Or is she only nibbling?  If she really hasn't eaten "anything" for 2 days, I think you should consult with a vet before they close for the weekend.  Good luck.

She had a nibble yesterday and only a handful of treats I gave her this morning other then that she hasn't been interested! I have spoke to the vets this morning just for my own reassurance that everything is ok! He said she could be near having her kittens! The last half hour or so she has been vocal so fingers crossed she has them today or tomorrow whilst I am off of work

She does need to eat though. Give her something to tempt her that you know she will like. It does sound as though she is close. I would suggest that your husband NOT run her around again today though with the toy. She needs to rest.

I agree, she needs to rest. If she'll eat treats only, give her some. But do try to get her to eat, she'll need her strength. Belly rubs will be better than her running around.

She still very playful and whilst she still wants okay then she will get it? Vet had no worries and said to let her play so I will. I have just for home from a bday meal and she still is playful so I will play before i go to bed! 67 days pregnant and still no kittens, she wants to keep them right til the end xx

You can play with her but I wouldn't let her get to a point where she's exhausted and panting.

Poppy has been very sleepy today, and the last couple of hours she has been vocal and following me around from room to room, she has just sat next to me now on the sofa having a sleep! Also her back leg keeps twitching when she is meowing is that usual

Labor is probably starting.  Some cats' legs twitch and more when they have the contractions.  It sounds like she wants you nearby.  Don't drink too much - cats have been known to follow their favorite human to the bathroom and back while in labor, and plan on ordering dinner in

Morning, she is still pregnant day 68 but she is so close! She had me up a bit in the night she kept standing on me til I followed her into the spare room, she is vocal and rolling around! I am thinking today she will have them! Although she has had no mucus plug or discharge...can she lose that like minutes before giving birth

yes, mine had a tiny bit of wetness several days before (which honestly could have been urine) but she lost her mucus plug in a large glob about 30 minutes before the first kitten came. Day 68, it's likely today.

For the last 3 hours she has been real sleepy and just lying around' she is still really affectionate towards me, rubbing her face with mine al the time, she has never been a vocal cat at all but def the last two days she has be men meowing , also when I am stroking her she keeps raising her bum into the air is that as sign of labour?

I'm not sure, but I'm sure someone here can answer that. All of my cats including boys do that as they like butt/tail scratches very much so they all raise their booties high up when I stroke them. But if it's out of character for her, it could mean something, I'm not sure though. If she'll take tummy rubs, it can help her out a bit.

She is having lots of tummy rubs also! I have a book a vets appointment for Wednesday morning, that's when she will be 70days pregnant, obviously I am hoping she has them naturally beforehand but want to have appointment booked in just in case she doesn't! If she doesn't go into labour before then, what will the vets do...a c-section or is there something they can give her to induce the labour?

There is really no need to schedule a vet appointment. Cats do pretty well with being past-due, and c-sections are a large trauma that are only needed if there is an emergency. 70 days is still well within the normal range for a cat. You'll want to bring her in if she's in distress or of she's pushing for more than 30 minutes without any result, but if she's just going long, she's probably ok!

Happens all the time here! No need to worry unless something is wrong with her.
