Hello there, I'm Cynda from Minnesota! I like to draw and write.. I've owned cats nearly all my life... I have no idea what to really say about myself unfortunately but I can surely talk about my cats haha! I will say however that I'm super new and even though i've gone over the rules a few times please tell me if I've made a mistake or missed something somewhere! Otherwise feel free to stay and read about me blabbing on about my kitties!
Anyway to get started! First I have my one and only Ollie as seen in my profile picture! Shes my beautiful tortoiseshell that I got when she was a kitten around Augest 3rd 2014! It's hard to believe it's been about 2 years!
She is by far the most talkative cat I've ever had and she nearly always comes when called! She's only really affectionate when she wants to be petting wise but shes the most understanding cat as well since she just likes to sit by you and watch or just snooze while you're doing work. Ollie never misses a greeting and is always running up to say hi or check the situation! Shes really the queen of the house if you ask me... Here are some baby pictures that I show literally everyone when I talk about her:
Ollies been my best friend for quite a while and we will remain that way for much longer!
As for newer additions here's Catsby! He was said to have been born on March 31, 2016 making him roughly 8 weeks? His age is pretty uncertain but we got him about a week ago now! Ollie and him have become friends with the proper transitioning and they're doing lovely together (all I could ever hope for aha) He's actually sitting right by me in his cat bed on my desk as I make his post! Ollie is up at her high place snoozing.
He's actually only got about 3 markings (his tail is 80% black) and his little heart patches on his head! And so far it's looking like hes got heterochromia with one blue eye and one yellow or brown eye! Its's hard to tell in the pictures I have haha
But so far he's been a huge pain in the butt but filled with love and play! Still trying to teach him how to not be so keen on using all his claws and teeth at full force (He's learning well with some positive teaching). He is a real sweetheart that loves to play with Ollie as much as he can and adores trying to take his string toy away from me by dragging it halfway across the room and slinging it back to me. All in all though he is extremely friendly and just a very good and sweet cat to be around save for the occasional kitten romp but kittens will be kittens!
