The best I would think you can do is to keep it warm and to keep feeding small amounts in regular intervals.  Feed sugar when you can too.  Get the kitten in to the vet as soon as you can.

It won't eat at all?  I think you'll need to force the issue - one drop at a time into the side of the cheek.  it will be slow going but hopefully the kitten will get some nutrients.

Ok. I can do that. Should I do pedialyte or formula? Or formula made from pedialyte. The stools have gone from hard to paste to running all today. He hasn't peed since about 4pm. Dehydration?

I have daughter getting Karo syrup now but how much sugar and water do I mix? I can't find a recipe that gives me the ratios

Normal formula ratio.  You just put a bit of sugar on the gums before feeding.  It doesn't have to be karo.  Honey will do in a pinch.

Honey is best. Karo will do.

His body may be shutting down. You may lose him. Mix the formula with pedialyte.

Do you hear a clicking sound when he breathes? Is it labored? If so, he may have pneumonia. Kittens this young rarely survive pneumonia. You'll need antibiotics for it.

The diarrhea is concerning, and probably causing dehydration. However, you want to be careful he does not aspirate liquid into his lungs.

Are you using a needleless syringe or eye dropper to feed?

When you said he wouldn't eat, did you mean he would not suck a bottle?

There IS a click when he breathes. It started this evening. The vet opens at 730 and I'll be there waiting. I feed him with an eye dropper. He can usually suck on it and control the flow

I have tried the bottle before.. not tonight..but he couldn't get the hang of the nipple.so I stuck to the dropper and he did so well with it and then he just got bad so fast.

He most likely aspirated formula into his lungs. That's how pneumonia starts. I hate to say it, but he may not make it through the night with fluid in his lungs.

Can you rouse him at all?

He will move around a little bit but when he tries to meow He just moves his mouth and no sound comes out. Also, when I try the dropper he he will move his head and instead of grabbing my fingers and suckling his little arms are limp and he pushes the dropper out with his tongue and turns his head

The dosage for pedialyte is

1,5 soup spoon of glucose sugar source (as white caro syrup or honey)

1 tea spoon of salt.  Preferably minerale salt if you have, but common kitchen salt will do

1 litre water.

Or you can use minerale water, with lotsa of different salts, as your salt source.   And add this karo syrup.

In a common 33cl bottle it will be half soup spoon of karo syrup.

You can use that pedialyte as its is, or for diluting the powdered kmr.   Say, half water half pedialyte.  (there is some salts already in the kmr).

Small portions but often.  Be sure the kitten is warm.   Its Red Alert as you surely know  ("we are under heavy attack - the enemy is inside our base")

I agree, he is probably going.  But as long there is life there is hope.

He's too ill to eat. His only hope would be a vet tonight.

If he's wheezing you can run a steamy shower and sit in the bathroom with him for a few minutes to help him breathe, but otherwise, keep him warm and comfort him. That's all you can do. Poor little guy.

If he makes it through the night, euthanizing will prevent further suffering.
