My mother found this kitten alone in a storm when he was about 2 weeks old.  He is not your average kitty.  He has never purred or meowed.  Any help would be appreciated.

Your mother's kitten is a very beautiful domestic short haired tabby.   There are different types of tabby coats, based on the pattern, but I'm not sure what they are - maybe someone else can pipe in with that information.  For more information on cat breeds check out this article:

As for not purring or meowing, this is actually not uncommon.  I didn't realize this myself until I adopted my current kitties, Chula and Paul and started reading about it.  Paul only rarely meows and I can't hear him purr at all.  The only way I can tell is to touch his throat and feel the vibrations.  Chula never meows and I have never known her to purr.   Even so, they are both very happy cats so the silence doesn't reflect discontent.  Some cats are just quiet.

BTW:  Welcome to TCS!

Are they eyes blue or real, or it just seems so?   What is the color of the tail and backside of the ears, compared with rest of the body?  You perhaps have photos on this?

Has she beein much outside, in the cold?

Interesting this pattern on the face, the rounded circle alike on an owl...

This looks like a brown DSH Mackerel tabby.
As for the eyes, my guess is could be due to the angle of lighting ?

He is a makerel tabby, but with the slender face and blue eyes he might have some Siamese in him.
Yeah, that is what I think.

I asked my questions, because I even suspect he can be a "misunderstood" point.

Yeah, I'd suspect recent Siamese/Oriental background. His head is very wedge-shaped and the blue eyes too. I don't know if he's pointed or not---do you remember what he looked like as a kitten? If he was a lot lighter he probably is a point, the color just spread like it usually does in non-show quality points. It's sort of surprising that he's silent; Siamese/Orientals are generally very noisy! But of course individuals will have their own personalities. He's a good-looking boy!

He was a very light cream, almost white with dark points.  Also had light stripes on legs.  Just recently that he got so dark.  Has a spotted tummy also.

No, he has never been outside since mom rescued him.

Top photo was about a year ago.  Bottom picture 2 weeks ago.
I see the eyes ARE blueish.  And he was lighter on the body earlier.   Which was Willowys  test-question.

So the diagnose is clear.   He IS a point   And has a siamese ancestor not far back to give that head and rather slender body.

Tabby and point, or as they say, a lynx point.

Perhaps both his parents were tabbies, and both were of course carriers of the point gene.  So he got the recessive point gene doubled - and become a point,

and also, got the dominant tabby gene doubled up, and this is why his tabby pattern is so strong, almost overhelming the point looks.

A fellow with unusual appearance!   :)
