I am in need of some advice since today is a holiday, and no local vets are open today...

Yesterday morning I noticed my 10 year old cat seemed a little wobbly, and favoring her back right side a bit. As the day progressed though that seemed to go away. Also yesterday she peed outside of her box in a couple of different places, and also pooped once outside of her box. Nothing seemed abnormal about the look or smell of the pee or poop. Then last night she seemed to be a little lethargic and not quite herself, but nothing extreme.

This morning the unbalance and favoring of the right side returned, but has since gotten better since she has been up moving around. She did try using the litter box once, but looks like only one small piece of poop came out. She then tried to poop outside of the box and was unsuccessful. I have not seen her try to pee yet. After the unsuccessful poop she threw up a very small amount of liquid that looked like mostly bile, and a little mucousy. She has eaten and drank several times already this morning so there does not appear to be a lack of appetite.

She is also not obsessively cleaning her private area so while she has one or two signs of a urinary issue, I'm not seeing the blood, or difficulty peeing (when she peed outside the box they were large puddles). I could really use some insight as to what the issue could be, and if there is anything I can try today to help her until I can get her to the vet.

Thank you for your help.

Update:

She just peed normally in her box, but could not poop again when she tried.

I just gave her a can of wet food and added some water to it hoping that will help.

Hello, and I'm sorry your kitty is struggling.

You could try adding some plain canned pumpkin to her food.  It does sound like it could be a constipation issue and adding some bulk to her food could help.  I would definitely consult your vet in the morning.
