How do i teach my cat to eat his food?

Could you tell us some more about your cat? How old is he and how long have you had him? Is he just a picky eater or is he refusing to eat at all? What do you feed him on?

The more information you can give us the better suggestions we can make.

It could be anything from he doesn't like the flavor to a health problem. More details will help.

My cat is one year old and i have had him since the fifth of may 2015. He's a Balinese.

Is there only one brand and flavour that he will eat?

Is he refusing all food?

Does he seem to be having trouble chewing and swallowing?

well there is a flavour that is called blue whiting he doesnt eat it he doesnt refuse all food or has trouble chewing and swallowing

If it's just one flavour that he doesn't like it's not such a big problem. As long as you can get him to eat something you don't need to worry about him eating every flavour of a brand. Most cats have their favourites and have ones they won't touch.

If he prefers the chicken and other meat flavours there is nothing wrong with feeding him those.

Sooner or later he will eat. Try generic tuna for $1 a can
