Depends how much I'd get. My apartment needs a lot done to it and I mean a lot. Water pipes need changing. I'd like to break walls and make few but larger rooms. I've 4 bedrooms and only need 2 or 3 at the most. My sitting room is tiny. My kitchen needs seeing to. The whole place needs redecorating. I wonder if I'd have any money left. If so I'd split it between the kids. How does that sound?really good choice!i've never been on a cruise either. oh yes, the sailboat can be sold. what would you do with the money from the sale of the sailboat?
I don't know what I'd do with the boys. Have to board them somewhere. More money. All from the ship.

those sound like really good things to put money from the sale of the sailboat towards!
me? i think i'd take half and set it aside for the cats for a medical/dental type emergency fund -- in addition to their current individual emergency funds. the rest i'd use to make a large principle payment on my mortgage.
I knew you'd put it towards your mortgage. I just wanted you to say it. Hugs.

nice choice!If I had to take a package as is, I'd take #2 and I'd sell the ring. 5 day vacation is perfect amount of time, and I like NOLA.
I like the idea of the Alaskan cruise thoughwould take that in a heartbeat!
yes, the Alaskan cruise does sound great! i wonder if i'd be thinking of the Titanic though... i've seen the movie Titanic (the old version, with Barbara Stanwick and Clifton Webb) many, many times.

ahhh, i used to love watching The Price Is Right! i'm not sure i'd like it now though, as to me Bob Barker was such a big part of the show.
