good afternoon!

for today's Question of the Day, let's have some fun!

imagine you're on a game show! you've made it to the 'final round', and now you have to choose between 3 'showcases'!

Showcase #1: a round trip, 6-night trip to Acapulco, Mexico; a snorkeling excursion; and a Kia Soul!

Showcase #2: a diamond ring, a Ford Mustang, and a 5-night trip to New Orleans!

Showcase #3: an 11 day Caribbean cruise, a sailboat, and a Nissan sedan!

which showcase would you choose?

i'll start!

i think i'd choose Showcase #1! a nice trip to a warm climate, trying snorkeling, and a new car would be lovely for me.

i have no use for a diamond ring, and i wouldn't enjoy a cruise.

How about you?

I'll take #3 please!

We love cruising - 11 nights would be heavenly. Hopefully the trip would include islands we haven't been to yet. Plus, I'm a long time and current Nissan owner. I'm at the tail end of my payments so a new one would be awesome. I'd sell the sailboat though, we have nowhere to moor it.

#2 definitely. I'd love to go to NOLA and the other 2 would be nice to have too.

#2 because I dont like Kia cars and not care for Nissan but i do like Fords-and the five day trip is long enough-I dont like being away from my home so the shorter the better-The diamond ring so I can sell it and donate the money to Gracies feral cat care.

seeing as this is all imaginary, you certainly may trade in the trip to Acapulco for an Alaskan cruise, and the snorkeling for a whale-watching expedition! and keep the Kia Soul!

Kia's are great vehicles!

To be honest none of the vacations really interest me and I have a 2015 car debt free that I love. Since this is fantasy I would take the cash value for the one worth the most and use it towards one of my dream vacations. Either a sub-saharan African photo safari or a wildlife trip to India. The trip to India would include going out on an elephant to look for a tiger in the wild and a trip to the part of India where a few lions still survive.

I'd like that option too. Mexico sounds great but whale-watching in Alaska sounds even better.

I don't drive, maybe I'd sell the car and get a motorbike instead. Or a pony!

If I had to take a package as is, I'd take #2 and I'd sell the ring. 5 day vacation is perfect amount of time, and I like NOLA.

I like the idea of the Alaskan cruise though :nod: would take that in a heartbeat!

Probably #2. I'm not interested in vacationing in Mexico or going on a cruise.

Funny, I'm watching the showcase showdown on the price is right while I read this.

You could always donate the cruise to a charity to auction off! That's my plan if PCH shows up with a Lincoln at my door...it'll never happen, but it's fun to plan!

my dad took an African photo safari after he retired -- he enjoyed it very much.
