Hello, I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and a kitten found it's way into my husbands work. She seems to be about 4 weeks old. She is walking and eating just fine. Seems to be in great health. I am in the middle of moving into a new home and need to get her a home as soon as possible. Any suggestions? Please help, thank you so much!

It's kitten season and no-kill shelters run by rescue groups are bursting at the seams and turning cats and kittens away. Other organizations euthanize when they have no room.

Are you able to keep the kitten long enough to locate a suitable home through a friend or relative?

I know moving is stressful, but the kitten can be placed in a bathroom or spare room out of the way (with food, water and litter) during busy times, though it does need some socialization time.

Is the kitten eating kitten chow and wet food at 4 weeks old?

Can you post a picture of it?

Agree with above.  Best is if you manage to yourself find an adoption home.  Phone around...

But, unless you know the folks well, dont give away "kitten to a good home for free".  Verry dangerous for the kitten...

If it feels embarrasing to ask for money, ask for a dontation to some worthy cause in the kittens name.

Or if you make a vet check up, ask them to repay you the money.

OR, you take a deposit of say 100 dollars, and repay 80 when they have shown they had spayed the kitten - recipe from the vet or similiar.

Something like that.

Thank you for the quick reply. Finally moved in and she is still with me. And safe! She is eating kitten food, wet and dry (of course, moistened), very well. Using a litter box, extremely intelligent for such a little one. Sweetest little girl, loves to curl up on your neck and lick your face till she falls asleep. I would love to keep her but where I moved to the other people on the property own a pit bull and I am so very afraid she would somehow get outside (she is an indoor kitty only) and that would be the end of her. I have had a few people inquire but she would be an outdoor kitty and I do not condone that. I will post a picture of her. I will keep her till I find a home for her, hopefully sooner then later.
