Hello! Percy is a rescue...
Picked up from the Sesame Street in the South Bay, CA, he grew into the most 'Expensive Free Thing Ever'...at least that's what I call him! But he's much loved.
My friend saw the kitten but she already had 3 rescue cats (along with a family) in her tiny condo...so called me.
I'm allergic and resisted, but it was tiny, starving, sickly, full of fleas, abandoned. This kitten crawled by me & purred...so I picked him up. The next few weeks were spent taking care of the kitten - vets, baths, feeding, etc...$1200+ Vet bill....
Sneezing & miserable (feeling very poor) - I even tried asking the Vet's office if they'd take him in - but they had several batches of kittens.
BUT Percy and I adapted, bonded. and I can't imagine life without him!
